As a member of the client care team, you will provide quality personal care services in accordance to care plans, policies and procedures. Good communication skills (verbal and written), and the ability to follow instructions allows you to assist with personal hygiene, activities of daily living, meal preparation, medication assistance, and companionship.
Requirements:
– Grade 12 and CCA Certification (or equivalent)
– Must have knowledge and experience with seniors and persons with disabilities
– Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation
– Criminal record check with vulnerable sector search required
– Proof of recent negative TB test required
– Two (2) or more supervisory or management role references (with preference given to health care field supervisors or managers) on resume
Availability:
You must have flexible hours for various days, evenings, nights and weekends, and be available 15 hours per week and 1 weekend per month minimum.
Assets:
– Experience in health care field
– Aptitude for compassion and caring while working with people
– Safe client handling using transfers, lifts, and re-positioning
