Full-Time Personal Caregiver
Job Description
We are currently seeking a full time caregiver for a 26 year old male with an acquired brain injury. He is non-verbal, tube fed and non-ambulatory however is cognitive and fully aware. This exceptional young man is seeking someone who is energetic, outgoing and loves community involvement. We are seeking someone trustworthy, reliable and honest. Preferred hours are 730am – 1630pm Monday through Friday, however this is negotiable. This position provides an opportunity for both the caregiver and this man to become involved in eachother’s daily lives, for example grocery shopping, hanging out at the mall, going to movies, doctors appointments – we provide an accessible vehicle for daily use as well. This position is not to be confused with a babysitting job, we are looking more for a friend and someone who would like to spend quality “buddy” time throughout the day.
Experience is preferred, however we do provide training specific to his needs. Wage is paid out semi-monthly and is negotiable. We offer a very unique employment opportunity to the right person.
