Job Summary:
The incumbent participates in the delivery of quality patient care by performing services necessary for the physical and emotional well being and comfort of the patient. The Unit Manager supervises the position and the Charge Nurse and other team members provide general direction for specified duties.
Qualifications:
Completion of a recognized Health Care Aide Course (or equivalent), Medical Terminology course and BCLS – HCP are required. One year recent related experience, computer familiarity, as well as familiarity with hospital settings are assets. The candidate must have the physical capability of performing all aspects of the role.
