Full-Time Transitional Home Team Support in Regina
Job Description
“The Team Support will be working closely with and providing services to youth involved with SCK through the Home program in a team support/caseworker capacity. Your primary role will be to engage the youth at all times and work alongside the youth.
Job includes (but is not limited to):
*Report daily on programming and individual progress via journals and case notes for participant files;
*Maintain up-to-date youth files; & contribute to monthly reports on individual youth;
*Report writing when necessary;
*Ensure that youth are offered the proper support needed to make positive change in their lives;
*Build positive, healthy relationships with youth;
*Provide positive role-modeling, mentoring, and relationship-based program in one-on-one and group settings;
*Help create, implement, review and carry out individual Action Plans for youth;
*Support youth in meeting individual needs (eg: school, home, community, health);
*Develop and implement individual and group programming with colleagues;
*Support youth to meet appointments (attending where appropriate) including health, education, court appointments etc.;
Requirements:
*Experience with program delivery, strong interpersonal skills, and positive youth role modeling;
*Experience in administration and documentation;
*Relevant post-secondary education and/or experience equivalence;
*Training: CPR/First-Aid (B), Conflict Resolution, ASIST, Crisis Intervention, Water Safety
*Knowledge and experience in: Working with youth; working with a First Nations population.
*Valid Drivers License with clean driving record;
*Flexibility in scheduling required, Days, evenings and weekends
Starting Wage $11 $14 hourly, depending on qualifications.
